Please note: while we are open to working with specialists in non-circus disciplines, if you have never trained in circus arts before, we recommend that you begin with a recreational program like the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts.

Tuition:  $12,980.00 / year
Registration Fee at enrollment: $150, non-refundable 
Circadium’s program is 3 years.  The total tuition + fees for the 3-year program is $39,090.00.  Tuition payments are made quarterly.

Required Questions (150 WORDS MAXIMUM):

  • Circadium is different from other circus schools. Why does our program specifically interest you?
  • What are your main hopes or goals in coming out of this program?
  • What is your background with circus training and/or athletic training?

  1. Describe a challenge you’ve faced and the way you overcame it.
  2. You’ve just finished your 300 page autobiography. Please submit the second paragraph on page 217.
  3. If there were a new circus skill named after you, what would it be and why?
  4. Are you a ruler or a scribble? Why?
  5. Who's one of your favorite contemporary circus artists, or what's one of your favorite contemporary circus shows (or acts)? Why?
  6. You’ve just been given a $300,000 grant to make your dream show. Describe it in one sentence.

AUDITION VIDEO

In this field, please include a single link to an audition video that is no longer than 3 minutes. Make sure that the video is a YouTube, Vimeo, or other link which is not set to private ("unlisted" is fine). Do not submit Facebook or Instagram links. The video should include:

  • 30-60 seconds - Strength and flexibility demonstrations. Your choice – feel free to include push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups, backbends, leg lifts, or anything else that illustrates your current level of strength and flexibility.
  • 30 seconds - Show us your strongest acrobatic skill.
  • 1-2 minutes - Performance. Can be in circus skills, or other types of performing arts. Ideally this is a live performance in front of an audience; if that is not available to you, it can be a performance in a home or studio setting.

Application Process:

January 31, 2024 – Online Applications due
February 16, 2024 – Notification of students’ invitations to live auditions
March 14-15, 2024 – Live auditions at Circus Campus 
March 31, 2024 – Students notified of their acceptance into the program
May 15, 2024 – Accepted students must submit Enrollment Agreement and $150.00 Registration Fee
