Statement of Purpose

In this field, provide a written statement, 500 words or less, explaining your interest in professional circus training. Describe your background, your goals, your artistic values, anything that will help us to understand you better as a circus artist.

Video Link

In this field, please include a single link to an audition video that is no longer than 3 minutes. Make sure that the video is a YouTube, Vimeo, or other link which is not set to private. Do not submit Facebook links. The video should include 30-60 seconds of strength and flexibility demonstrations. Your choice - feel free to include push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups, backbends, leg lifts, or anything else that illustrates your current level of strength and flexibility. Then, a maximum of 2 minutes of performance. Performance can be in circus skills, or other types of performing arts. Please note: while we are excited to work with specialists in non-circus disciplines, if you have never trained in circus arts before, we recommend that you begin with a recreational program like the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (www.phillycircus.com)
